Global Lingo is a technology-orientated organisation.

What do we mean by this?

We are a company working with the latest language technologies to provide the best level of service possible at the best possible speed.

How do we do this?

In January 2019, our Senior Localisation Project Manager, Antonino Polizzi, transitioned into the role of Global Software Implementation and Training Manager. One project he is leading is to expand the features of our cloud-based translation management system (GloZone) by introducing an on-screen translation tool. This means that your documentation has become more secure and allows you, the customer, to be more directly involved in the translation process through a live client review stage.

Over the past 12 months, Global Lingo has implemented various other new language technologies. We have integrated automatic speech recognition (ASR) and machine translation (MT) into our available workflows. These new workflows assist by improving the speed of your project turnaround and supporting with project costs, making our services accessible to more users. On top of this, they help to improve language consistency.

Our latest blog series (starting 2nd April) will explain more about each of these language technologies to make it easy for you to understand how Global Lingo has adapted to make your projects easier to manage.
