Desktop
publishing

For all formatted documents such as images, graphics, PowerPoint files or PDFs, we offer desktop publishing and typesetting (DTP) services. Experienced designers, who are native speakers or have extensive experience with foreign language content, will work on files at the DTP stage.

Certified
translation

Our processes are stringent, precisely documented and certified to ISO 9001 for quality management. The translation process is managed end to end through GloZone, our dedicated client portal, offering both security and efficiency. A dedicated project manager and account manager is on hand and available throughout as your single point of contact, and we can certify or notarise translations upon request.

Linguistic
sign-off

Linguistic sign-off (LSO) is a crucial part of the translation process after the translation, proofreading, editing and quality assurance steps have been completed. If a document requires further manipulation from a file engineer or a designer/typesetter to reach its final format, our quality assurance process ensures text and formatting appear identical to the original content.

Translation services for corporate businesses

Many language service providers will tell you that they can work with large multinational organisations and understand how it might differ from working with smaller companies. The truth is they probably do not, but luckily we do. And you do not have to take our word for it. Our record speaks for itself. You do not translate for global giants such as Hilton, Honda, and HSBC unless you know how to work at that level.

Our rock-solid processes, strict attention to detail and flexibility are what set us apart from other translation service providers. Add to this some of the most talented and hardworking account managers and project managers in the industry, and it is easy to see why the corporate world sees us as the perfect partner for their translation requirements.

Take your translations one step further with transcreation

Transcreation is the process whereby a linguist focuses on conveying an array of information while evoking the emotion and nuances of the source language. This approach is far more creative than regular translation. It is not constrained by the source language.

Our linguists are exceptionally adept at altering their writing style and following a creative brief. With glossaries and style guides capturing the preferences and requirements of our clients, we ensure that writers use the correct tone consistently throughout their content.

In many cases, non-linguistic steps might be required after translation. For example, for marketing campaigns, we often replace and edit the image or the video content to better appeal to the target audience and to be respectful of cultural differences.

Ensure consistency with linguistic sign-off

Linguistic sign-off (LSO) is part of the translation process. After the translation, proofreading, editing and quality assurance steps have been completed, LSO might be a necessary step. If a document requires further manipulation from a file engineer or a designer to reach its final format, our quality assurance process ensures text and formatting appear identical to the original content.

LSO can be used for web and software localisation as well as print collateral. It ensures that no errors are encountered post-delivery when the respective collateral or programmes are in use.

Scale your project with our desktop publishing services

We can provide translations of designed brochures and documents, as well as the typesetting and formatting needed to ensure the final documents are identical to the originals. For all designed or formatted documents such as images, graphics, PowerPoint files or PDFs, we offer Desktop Publishing (DTP). Experienced designers, who are native speakers or have extensive experience with foreign language content, work with the files at the DTP stage.

Our specialised DTP service is particularly important for languages with different alphabets or characters, and for right-to-left languages where a non-native speaker would not be able to typeset the translated text correctly.
