We support the World Food Programme manage multilingual transcriptions securely and efficiently

The World Food Programme (WFP) conducts detailed investigations in multiple locations, often in remote areas where secure communication is crucial. To document their findings, WFP required high-quality transcriptions and translations in both English and non-English languages. The challenge was to manage large volumes of audio recordings efficiently, while ensuring secure handling of confidential content.

To meet these needs, Global Lingo assigned two dedicated Project Managers, responsible for coordinating multilingual transcription and translation tasks. Their role includes file handling, quality assurance, and meeting tight deadlines across different time zones.

To enhance security and accessibility, WFP recordings are uploaded through GloZone, our secure, web-based content management system. This allows WFP teams to send confidential files from anywhere in the world, ensuring seamless project management without compromising data security.

By combining transcription and translation in a single workflow, WFP benefits from greater transparency and efficiency. The ability to verify content across languages enables faster decision-making, supporting WFP’s critical humanitarian efforts worldwide.
