We are committed to net zero scope 1, 2 & 3 emissions by 2050
We have developed a detailed plan for reducing carbon emissions, aligning with the SBTi (Science-Based Targets initiative) and ISO Net Zero Guidelines. This document is our roadmap to net zero, outlining the initiatives we will implement to meet this goal.
Our emissions baseline
| tonnes CO2e | Baseline | Reporting | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Year | 2024 | 2025 | |
| Scope 1 | 0 | 0 | The business does not burn heating fuels on-site or run any business-owned internal combustion vehicles, hence our Scope 1 emissions are zero. |
| Scope 2 | 0.568 | 0.567 | ‘Energy’ emissions from electricity used in our buildings and to charge electric fleet vehicles. |
| Scope 3 | 344 | 66.4 | ‘Indirect’ emissions that occur across the value chain and outside of our direct control. |
| Total | 345 | 67 | t CO2e |
Of our 66.4 tonnes of associated Scope 3 emissions, the following subset are detailed:
| t CO2e | Baseline | Reporting | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Year | 2024 | 2025 | |
| Upstream transport & distribution | 1.65 | 4.678 | emissions associated with getting materials/products to site. |
| Waste | 0.019 | 0.017 | waste generated by the business |
| Business travel | 33.3 | 40.4 | personal travel by air, rail, car |
| Employee commuting | 3.713 | 2.403 | employee commuting emissions |
| Downstream transport & distribution | 0 | 0 | there are no emissions associated with shipping products to customers |
Our decarbonization plan
We’re on track to achieve an overall carbon reduction of 29% in the next five years. We aim to reduce direct emissions (44% reduction) and by working with our suppliers (29% reduction) Through these changes we aim to reduce our carbon footprint from 67tonnes to 47tonnes by 2030.
These are the technologies that we will adopt to reduce our direct carbon footprint:
| Date | Carbon saved | |
|---|---|---|

2026 | 0.1 tonnes CO2e pa |
Initiatives to reduce carbon
Cutting carbon isn’t just about investing in new technology, it’s also about changing behaviours and habits. We plan to engage our entire workforce in carbon reduction through the following initiatives:
Engage with our suppliers
We’ll engage with our suppliers to seek to lower the carbon from the transportation for procured products and materials.
Switch to renewable sources
We do not buy electricity or off-site heating directly, so our Scope 2 emissions are zero. We will ask building owners to use renewable energy where possible.
Explore energy saving measures
We include home working emissions. We will help our team find ways to save energy at work and at home.
Report our carbon emissions
We will improve how we measure and report our carbon emissions. We will improve how we measure and report emissions. We will review procurement to choose lower-carbon services and reduce emissions from main suppliers. We will work with our serviced office provider to find ways to cut energy use in the building.
Reduce business travel
We aim to reduce business travel by air, and help our staff make lower-carbon long-distance travel.
Reduce material waste
We will look to reduce material waste wherever possible.
Declaration

Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard1 and uses the appropriate Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting2. Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard3.
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and signed off by the board of directors (or equivalent management body).
