Andrew Trotter
Andrew TrotterChairman & Founder
Andrew founded Global Lingo in 2006 in London. With previous industry experience, Andrew wanted to create a new kind of language provider focusing more on service and quality. With an entrepreneur’s vision and a small team of freelancers, Andrew rolled up his sleeves and began growing the business into what it is today. He remains on as chairman of the board.
Mark Williams
Mark WilliamsChief Executive Officer
Mark has over 25 years’ experience leading and managing International divisions for large corporations, growing start-up businesses, strategy consulting and trouble-shooting for language services companies and Investors. Mark was SVP Managing Director International for the Financial Services Group of RR Donnelley & Sons Company where he spent 19 years, followed by four years living and working in Luxembourg before returning to the UK in 2014.
Jonathan Sutton
Jonathan Sutton Non-Executive Director
Jonathan Sutton is an advisor to the Global Lingo board and provides the directors with relevant financial expertise, gained through a career as a chartered accountant. He is a partner at Dixon Wilson, Chartered Accountants, and a Non-Executive Director of private companies. He is an adviser to UK-based families and their businesses, advising on financial and tax matters in the UK and overseas.
Karl Eastwood
Karl EastwoodFinance and Operations Director
With 10 years’ experience in finance and operations roles, Karl joined Global Lingo in 2011 as a finance administrator. Over the past four years Karl has played a very significant role in developing Systems and Processes at Global Lingo to maintain our ISO certification and operating standards. Currently based out of the Cluj-Napoca office Karl is our Finance and Operations Director working tirelessly to ensure our cash flow remains positive and our global operations work seamlessly.
Sarah Radford
Sarah RadfordGlobal Head of Professional Writing Services
Sarah joined the Global Lingo senior management team at the beginning of 2017 to oversee the Professional Writing Services division. Sarah manages a global team of specialized Project Managers, and a freelance base of writers, editors, and transcribers across the world. She has overall responsibility for operations, workflow, and service delivery for over 3,000 meetings, conferences, and live events annually. Sarah previously worked for Ubiqus Group, and has over 10 years’ experience in operations management.
Jonny Bates

Jonny has nearly a decade of experience within the Localization Industry and joined Global Lingo more than 5 years ago. Since then he’s worked out of our offices in the UK, Romania, Singapore and moved across to the USA in 2017 to head-up our newest office in Chicago.
Adeline Loh
Adeline LohCountry Manager Singapore
Adeline has more than 7 years’ project management experience in the language services industry gained while working with large localization companies in Singapore. With an ability to manage complex multi-lingual projects, Adeline has a real enthusiasm for learning new concepts and staying current with advancements in industry technology. As Singapore Country Manager, Adeline is committed to differentiating Global Lingo in Asia through quality of output and flexibility.
Jessica Ligeiro
Jessica LigeiroGlobal Head of Translations and Interpreting Services
Jessica is the Global Head of Translations and Interpreting services at Global Lingo, London office. Jessica spent several years at one of the largest Language Services Providers in the industry and has acquired a vast range of experience and knowledge on the different types of localization projects and project management methods. Jessica is a dual national, Portuguese and British and has spent time living and working abroad during both her time at university, as well as on a professional capacity.
Mara Butuza
Mara ButuzaGeneral Manager – Romania & Linguist Management Team Leader
Mara joined Global Lingo in February 2015 as a Linguist Recruitment Coordinator after having worked as a freelance translator, interpreter and language trainer for almost four years. Mara is the General Manager of the Cluj-Napoca office, the largest operations site, which she strives to continue growing. She oversees the vendor management process, procurement strategy, departmental documentation, linguist communications, and linguistic quality assurance processes in conjunction with the Project Management teams.
Chetan Khushal
Chetan KhushalEuropean Sales Director
Chetan joined Global Lingo at the end of 2014 with 10 years’ experience in the language services industry. Qualifying as a translator, and gaining vital industry experience within Project Management, Chetan soon moved into a consultative role, selling language services and technology solutions. He has been focussing on new business development for the last seven years. At Global Lingo, Chetan is responsible for the EMEA region’s sales strategy, managing a team of salespeople and account managers, whilst growing the EMEA sales department in line with Global Lingo’s targets.
