Case study
We helped UICC launch a multilingual Cancer Atlas to a global audience
The Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), a Geneva-based non-profit, aimed to disseminate its latest Cancer Atlas globally. To achieve this, they needed the publication translated into seven languages: Arabic, Chinese (Simplified), Farsi, French, Spanish, Russian, and Turkish.

How we helped
Our approach
Expert linguist teams: Assigned 3–4 linguists per language, each supported by a dedicated proofreader, ensuring initial reviews were completed within 2–3 weeks.
In-country reviews: Collaborated with UICC’s network of local organizations for multiple in-country reviews, enhancing cultural relevance and accuracy.
Professional typesetting: Utilized InDesign for typesetting each language version, incorporating multiple rounds of in-context linguistic sign-off to ensure quality and consistency.
