Statement from Mark Williams – CEO

As someone who remembers the summer of 1976, this year certainly felt very similar and according to reports was the joint hottest on record in the UK. It felt like it! Despite the heat it has been a busy summer at Global Lingo. We continue to smash our targets and are on-track to post another record year in 2018.

We were honoured to feature this year in the Common Sense Advisory Research Report on the Language Services Market.

Based on our 2017 revenue results, Global Lingo features for the first time in the Top 120 Language Services Companies in the world, and in the top 30 in Northern Europe. With our name appearing twice in Common Sense Advisory’s Who’s who of Language Services it is great to see Global Lingo recognised by one of the industry’s leading market research organisations.

This edition of the newsletter features information on our attendance at the DevLearn conference in Las Vegas from 24th through 26th of October. You will find us at booth 819 – please come along and say Hello! In addition, we are delighted to introduce Marina Mann as our Global Marketing Manager and resident multi-lingual snowboarder.  One of Marina’s first tasks has been to update our website, so please take a look around.

We are making great progress with our ISO 27001 certification and will be making a further announcement later this month.

Thank you to all our employees and clients for making this a great summer!
