Global Lingo is continuously growing and we are looking to expand our Cluj team. We are a young and vibrant company specialising in both Transcription and Localisation services and we’re looking for a new team member for our Translation and Interpreting team.

Main Purpose of Job

The role sits within the Translation department, reporting to the regional Team Leader. The Project Coordinator is responsible for collaborating with designated Project Managers on a range of translation projects, using best practice assigning, quality assurance and cost control, to guarantee customer satisfaction and account growth. The Project Manager will display excellent communication skills in establishing the scope, complexity and expectations of all projects. The Project Coordinator maintains regular communication with all stakeholders, and reports to the Team Leader on the progress, position and financial status of their projects.  This person will also ensure any issues are escalated in a timely fashion to the relevant person.

Job Responsibilities

Including but not limited to:

  • Assist the PM with the production of Translation projects: sourcing linguists, assigning translation tasks, processing files in CAT tools, etc.
  • Assist the PM delivering projects to client’s expectations
  • Help the PM compiling estimates and proposals for approval
  • Maintaining and updating of invoicing information and ensuring timely invoicing
  • Effective verbal/written communications with freelancers, internal team members and clients, where appropriate under the guidance of a Project Manager Team Leader
  • Adhering to the Global Lingo project process including the use of Translation Management System, Handover forms and any other ISO documentation
  • Accurate filing and housekeeping of all project related materials

  • Profitability of projects as identified by budgets
  • Client satisfaction levels assessed by feedback and manager feedback
  • Numbers and levels of quality issues
  • Effectiveness in improving client processes and business retention

About you

  • Educated to Diploma Level in either business or localization/linguistic related
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good Microsoft Office and Computer skills
  • Ambitious and with a desire to learn and progress
  • Analytical and structured, problem-solving abilities
  • Be self-motivated, proactive and able to challenge the status quo
  • Be customer oriented


  • Previous experience in the localisation industry.
  • Ability to speak a non-English language
  • Flexibility and the ability to travel if needed
  • Able to work with CAT tools
