News – Public-sector Success (Update)

Pall Mall-based Global Lingo is delighted to announce its success in expanding its public-sector business this summer. As a result of a major sales push, Global Lingo has trebled its number of public-sector clients in the past three months. Major projects in this time for new clients have included several thousand pages of translation for an employment tribunal and the transcription of many police interviews from across the country.

Already established as a leading provider of transcription, translation and interpreting services to many think tanks and advocacy groups, Global Lingo has also taken on several new clients in the legal sector. Leveraging existing partnerships with City law firms, a significant proportion of this growth has come from the civil and criminal courts.

Global Lingo Director, Andrew Trotter says “Our clients in the legal industry demand perfectly accurate and cost‑effective services, requirements that we are uniquely positioned to meet.”.

“Our expansion began in spectacular fashion back in June when we provided transcription services at a meeting of 10 heads of state, including Gordon Brown.”.

Based in St James’s, London, Global Lingo is ideally situated for City-based clients, and is a leading provider of conference transcription to commercial clients and bodies such as European Works Councils.
