Global Lingo joins ATC

Global Lingo is proud to announce that it has joined the Association of Translation Companies (ATC). Founded in 1976, the ATC is one of oldest professional groups representing the interests of translation companies in the world. It is dedicated not only to representing the interests of translation companies, but also to serving the needs of translation purchasers. Members of the ATC are carefully vetted before admission into membership, adhere to a strict code of professional conduct, are subject to the rulings of a professional ethics committee, and carry full professional indemnity insurance cover to safeguard the interests of the translation purchaser.

Geoffrey Bowden, General Secretary of the ATC, stated he was ‘very pleased’ and ‘delighted to welcome’ Global Lingo to the Association, after its membership committee approved the application. Andrew Trotter, Managing Director of Global Lingo, added ‘We’re very happy to have joined the ATC. Global Lingo has been providing translation services to major international corporations like Honda, Fujitsu and BNP Paribas for years now, and it’s great that our professionalism has now been formally recognised by the industry.’
