Global lingo moved it’s its sales centre from London to Leeds back in July and relocated Marian Arnold from that office to the new premises in the Leeds Innovation Centre. Since then the company has hired Paul Green as senior account manager and recently partnered with the Leeds Met Job Shop to recruit Hanna Ojanpera as business development manager.
The company also updated their online quoting system to enable it to take payment for translation projects online meaning that companies can now order translations in seconds. To complete this web development project Global Lingo hired Leeds based IT consultant Gillan Cash of Esquared Solutions Ltd to develop the whole front and back end system.
Richard Michie, Global Lingo’s Director of Marketing said “The move to Leeds has been a good one from us, we are very keep to ensure we support the local economy which why we’re more than happy to be working with Leeds Met as well as Gillan at Esquared. We see Leeds as the place to be at the moment because of the infrastructure of the city, the available workforce and the large businesses based in the city.”
