Sandip Roy was appointed as APAC Sales Director for Global Lingo earlier this month, to lead our growth plans in the region.

Global Lingo’s Singapore office welcomed Sandip Roy, APAC Sales Director for the region, earlier this month. Sandip is responsible for all Sales and Business Development within the Asia Pacific region and has already identified his plans for the coming months.

Sandip has 14+ years of experience, with global exposure, in managing international sales & business development, operations, project management, profit center management functions in Translation & Localisation, Insurance and Outsourcing Industries. For the past 10 years, Sandip has worked in the Localisation Industry.

Karl Eastwood, COO, Global Lingo comments: “Given Sandip’s experience within the localisation industry, he was the obvious choice to be entrusted with our APAC market growth plans. According to a study by MarketWatch.com, the global translation services market is projected an impressive 11% CAGR from 2017 to 2022 (forecast period) to touch a size of USD 57 billion by 2022. North America is the largest single market for translation services, however, APAC is seeing the largest growth rate. Global Lingo is looking to capitalise on this growth. I look forward to working with Sandip to make this happen.”

With Sandip heading up the Sales team in APAC, Global Lingo is looking to increase its Asia Pacific footprint beyond Singapore. The growth plan includes representation in at least three further locations by 2021.
