As part of Global Lingo’s crusade to defend the Yorkshire dialect, I appeared on Leeds Today, a news programme put together by the students at Leeds Trinity.

As it was Yorkshire Day (August 1st) they gave me a few minutes to talk about the dialect and why it’s important to protect it. My segment is about 13.30 into the show, but the whole show is well worth watching. I’m positive there are a few star journalists of the future working on Leeds Today, you saw them here first.

Leeds Today is broadcast week day at 4.30, the show is researched, filmed, edited, produced and presented by the students.
