The Role

We seek an organised, experienced Salesforce Administrator who has proven experience with Salesforce on a user level as a minimum. The ideal candidate will have some prior administration level experience of Salesforce. In this Salesforce Administrator role we expect strong levels of time management and excellent communication skills. As well as technical knowledge we are looking for someone capable of establishing and maintaining relationships with internal teams and clients in order to remain apprised of direction and Salesforce status. This individual should also be keen to learn about and stay well informed of new features/uses of Salesforce.

Education and Experience


  • Minimum of 3 years experience working with Salesforce and related products
  • Proven experience in manipulation of raw data and presenting it in a structured and visual format
  • Excellent spoken and written communications
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Adaptable and quick to learn, with a strong motivation to improve and develop own skills
  • Ability to articulate complex technical topics to a non-technical audience
  • Process-driven approach
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Excel at intermediate or advanced level
  • Ability to write and maintain documentation
  • Keen eye for detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritise conflicting needs of the business and internal users


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any field
  • Salesforce Certification
  • Experience of Salesforce CRM configuration, including the use of workflows, process builder, validation rules, profiles and permissions preferred
  • Proven experience of providing technical administration with

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring optimal performance of the Salesforce system
  • Managing Salesforce roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, and groups
  • Importing sales department leads, contacts, and other data
  • Monitor data integrity to maintain an overall high-level of data quality
  • Maintaining the sales cloud, as well as building custom reports and dashboards
  • Performing database maintenance tasks, including diagnostic tests and duplicate entry cleansing
  • Evaluating and installing new Salesforce releases, as well as providing training and support
  • Preparing reports for sales and other departments
  • Work with internal teams to collect information on any current technical issues and troubleshoot them as appropriate
  • Ensure adherence to data regulations such as the GDPR
  • Liaise with third party software providers to ensure data transfers are seamless and accurate

Defining Success

The Sales Force administrator will be integral to ensure the company maximises its investment in using SalesForce as a CRM. You will be able implement meaningful change to the platform and continously improve/maintain Global Lingo’s use of Salesforce.
